This beautiful handmade paper recreates the quality and character of writing paper used during the Regency period - the same kind of paper Jane Austen herself might have written on.

Made using 100% long-fibred cotton rag, it follows traditional paper making methods from the 18th and early 19th centuries. At that time, paper was made not from wood pulp, but from recycled linen and cotton textiles, producing sheets that were soft, durable, and ideal for ink.

Each sheet is crafted using a mould and deckle, resulting in four natural deckle edges and a lightly textured medium surface that pairs perfectly with dip pens, quills, and iron gall ink.

Sized with a neutral pH internal sizing for strength and ink control, this acid-free paper is as functional as it is historically authentic.
