Gillott 303 - The Victoria Pen Card

A complete and original Gillott presentation card, as issued.

Twelve No. 303 Victoria Pen nibs, mounted as presented, with the original Gillott penholder. The card is in very good condition, with no creases. This is not a set assembled from the archive - it is a piece of archive in itself.

The 303 was described by Gillott as an Extra Fine Point and named the Victoria Pen - the original extra fine pen. It became one of the most widely used pointed nibs of the twentieth century and remains in production today. These are not the modern version.

Produced at the Victoria Works, Graham Street, Birmingham, by appointment to the King and to Her Late Majesty Queen Victoria - as stated on the company's own illustrated catalogue.
