Centre de compétences des gribouilleurs

The Skills Centre is a great resource for beginners, especially those that are unable to find a tutor or classes in their area, allowing the student to study at their own pace and covering the basic hands. Printable pages help to build up a reference file and so much useful information in regard to the most beginner friendly nibs, practice paper etc. for each hand. Each section can be accessed in any order and dipped in and out of as the student wishes. Good advice as to good practice routines to aid progress.

I have been enjoying the Skills Centre very much. I do the courses on and off as practice sessions for myself. I always find something new that I missed before. It is essential to keep practicing, even as a tutor. Simon has vast experience and I find all the resources invaluable. It is well worth the monthly subscription.

Ideal for beginners with clear easy instructions. The mantra is definitely practice, practice, practice and then practice some more to find your own style of flourishes and pen movements. Some nice projects to do too. Very therapeutic!

I recommend the Scribblers Skills Centre. Follow a well presented schedule to understand ways of communicating; learn the past for present knowledge, understand cultures different to your own. Find everything you need to write and enjoy the journey at your own pace.

I’m a beginner in modern calligraphy, and have found the skills centre very comprehensive and easy to follow, a great follow up to the local workshop I attended a few weeks ago, and it has also given direction to my regular practice. Thank you Scribbler’s team!

Very clear instructions

I had only been trying to learn myself calligraphy for a couple of months when I started to get stuck for things to write. Totally fed up with copying the alphabet out I was getting frustrated with a lack inspiration. This is when I turned to, ‘Scribblers Skills Centre.’
I’d made several orders from ‘Scribblers’ and found them to be reliable and sold top quality writing equipment at very fair prices.
Their Skills Centre package was ideal with what I needed to continue on my calligraphy path. Excellent clear instruction, projects to follow, giveaways to guide you through the different sections and most of all, more inspiration than you can shake a stick at. All this plus a cancel anytime and a no fuss refund promise. It’s a no-brainer.

Great ideas and support for me as a novice.
