Finetec Coliro - Blue Silver (C280)

Blue Silver is a very metallic blue-silver.

Lightfastness is rated 8 out of 8, the top of Coliro's scale, so it holds its colour well.

Coliro order code C280, formerly Finetec M1200-80.

Finetec, now made as Coliro Pearlcolors, are handmade pearlescent watercolours. The mica pigment is bound with gum arabic, so you add water and work straight from a dip pen or brush, which is why calligraphers reach for them where a metallic ink would be too thin. Each refill pan is 30mm across and fits the standard Finetec and Coliro palettes.
