Plastic Oblique Pen Holder with Metal Flange

A good calligraphy staple for the workbox. Easy to clean and use.

I’m a total beginner at calligraphy and this is my first oblique pen holder. I found using it extremely annoying and unnatural at the beginning, but now it’s better. This pen holder is just right. I used it with Nikko G and Leonardt 111EF nibs; it’s not particularly pretty but it is simple, it has a nice shape and it feels good to hold it in my hand. Well-balanced (I like light fountain pens in general, and this pen holder is light). Probably more pleasant than wood. I would have preferred it colorful but black is not bad. Guess I would have disliked the fancier endings.
