Flourish is a lavishly illustrated throughout with photographs, full colour illustrations, an expert examples of fine handwriting to complement the written descriptions. Alongside a thorough grounding in the practical basics the observation in this book will equip you with everything you need to develop a unique writing style of your own.

This is a very complete book on Copperplate script, not just the "how to" but much more. It has beautiful images to show the content. I like it very much and I reccommend it.

This is a wonderful book, full of interesting historical information as well as practical information on a variety of calligraphy fonts.
Fonts are described and shown in full detail, with photographs. There are lessons which take the reader through a developmental process.
Flourishes are covered in detail. Nibs, inks etc are also covered.

Gorgeous book with a solid explanation of historical Copperplate and Modern Calligraphy. I've learned how to approach and create flourishing in any type of alphabet because of its foundational explanation of how to flourish. I constantly refer to it whenever my flourishing looks slightly or outright wrong to understand why.

It's excellent, as expected but I wouldn't recommended it as a first book for a beginner; Sarah Richardson's book is better for that. But "Flourish" is excellent for those who are already finding their way ahead.
