Initially I didn't want any plastic pen holder, but I thought the Speedball looked cool and seemed very ergonomic. In the end it's my favourite, because it's the most comfortable I've got. Fingers won't slide towards the nib or to the back, you keep a good grip on the pen thanks to its shape. It's also a good size for me (I have medium/small hands).
It works with most if my nibs (Hunt, Tachikawa, Nikko, Guillott) , including Brause 961, but not with Brause écolière, nor with Brause Rose.
It looks especially cool with a dark nib :D
