Speedball B5½ size nib

The Speedball B5½ has a round tip that produces a stroke of even thickness. Because the tip is round rather than edged, the line stays the same width whichever direction you move the pen across the paper, which is what makes it so well suited to monoline lettering.

The B5½ is a fine nib in the B range, one step broader than the smallest B6. It has a fixed reservoir on top and suits both left and right-handed calligraphers. It fits a standard straight holder, including the Speedball Pen Holder.
