Tachikawa Maru Nib

My experience with dip pen nibs is limited,I use them for drawing and tend towards the stiffer type of nib.
I did purchase a small selection to try in the first instance and are still in the process of evaluating the large variety possible.

Having just learnt Spencerian I was struggling a little trying to obtain the fine strokes that makes Spencerian so elegant. Having seen Simon use this nib to write Copperplate at just 2.5mm I decided to try out this nib. The results are amazing. I can now write my Spencerian at 2.5mm X height and achieve the fineness of stroke I strive to achieve. I cannot recommend this nib too highly for those who like a fine tipped nib with little flex.
