Nibs & Dip Pens

A dip pen is any pen you dip rather than fill. Usually that means a nib and a holder, with the nib doing the work - swap it and the pen writes quite differently, which is why most calligraphers end up with a tin of them. Some, like automatic pens, have their nib fixed in place and are not interchangeable.
