Arabic Gold is a shiny gold, bright yellow in tone.

Lightfastness is rated 7 to 8 out of 8 on Coliro's scale (1 very poor, 8 excellent), so it holds its colour well.

Coliro order code C630, formerly Finetec M630.

Finetec, now made as Coliro Pearlcolors, are handmade pearlescent watercolours. The mica pigment is bound with gum arabic, so you add water and work straight from a dip pen or brush, which is why calligraphers reach for them where a metallic ink would be too thin. Each refill pan is 30mm across and fits the standard Finetec and Coliro palettes.

The Fonetec Gold range is just wonderful and the one I use most is the Arabic Gold, a good solid colour.

This is a strong gold paint, I am pleased with the depth of colour it produces.
