Finetec Coliro - Green Pearl (C290)

Green Pearl is a green shimmer colour with a hint of lilac, brightest on dark paper.

Shimmer colours are subtle on white paper and show up brightest on dark paper. They are also good for adding highlights to a painting.

Lightfastness is rated 6 to 7 out of 8 on Coliro's scale (1 very poor, 8 excellent).

Coliro order code C290, formerly Finetec M1200-90.

Finetec, now made as Coliro Pearlcolors, are handmade pearlescent watercolours. The mica pigment is bound with gum arabic, so you add water and work straight from a dip pen or brush, which is why calligraphers reach for them where a metallic ink would be too thin. Each refill pan is 30mm across and fits the standard Finetec and Coliro palettes.
