The Speedball C4 has a square-cut edge that makes a broad stroke 1.3mm wide. Speedball describe the C range as made to emulate the quill, for styles like Foundational, Italic, Uncial and Blackletter.
The C4 has a fixed reservoir on top and is for right-handed calligraphers. It fits a standard straight holder, including the Speedball Pen Holder. The left-handed version is the LC4.
