Finetec Coliro - Black Currant (C057)

Black Currant is a dark berry shade, a rich dark purple.

Lightfastness is rated 7 to 8 out of 8 on Coliro's scale (1 very poor, 8 excellent), so it holds its colour well.

Coliro order code C057, formerly Finetec M057.

Finetec, now made as Coliro Pearlcolors, are handmade pearlescent watercolours. The mica pigment is bound with gum arabic, so you add water and work straight from a dip pen or brush, which is why calligraphers reach for them where a metallic ink would be too thin. Each refill pan is 30mm across and fits the standard Finetec and Coliro palettes.
