Finetec Coliro - Red Violet (C260)

Red Violet is a shiny wine red, purpley in tone.

Lightfastness is rated 8 out of 8, the top of Coliro's scale, so it holds its colour well.

Finetec, now made as Coliro Pearlcolors, are handmade pearlescent watercolours. The mica pigment is bound with gum arabic, so you add water and work straight from a dip pen or brush, which is why calligraphers reach for them where a metallic ink would be too thin. Each refill pan is 30mm across and fits the standard Finetec and Coliro palettes.
