The Ultimate Gillott Copperplate Set

This set brings together the finest pointed nibs from the Joseph Gillott range - selected not for convenience but for what each one represents in the tradition of copperplate and Spencerian writing.

At its centre is the 604 EF Double Elastic. Now exceptionally rare, it was this nib that Brian Walker - master penman and the man behind Walker's Copperplate Ink, which we make exclusively to his original recipe - sacrificed to Leonardt in 2003 to help develop what became the Leonardt EF Principal.

The 604 EF is the nib at the root of that story.

Alongside it: the 404 Warranted, the 303 Victoria Pen, the 170 Warranted, and the 290 Lithographic - all in bronze, all very flexible, all from the Gillott archive.

Each nib has been individually checked. The set will not be repeated in this form.
